I have a user (COO) that wants emails restored only from certain email addresses. These emails are in his deleted items folder. I have a mailbox brick level backup. Is there any way to filter by the email address?

Environment is: Windows 2000 Server SP4, Backup Exec 8.6

Any further questions please ask.

Thanks,

David

If you look at the restore selections and advanced include/exlude there doesnt seem to be a way to do it.

Personally I think that is to much of the user to ask from you. I just set the expectation to the user its all or nothing and put the work on them.

I would create a temp mailbox, restore that users mailbox to the temp mailbox, export it out to a pst and then mount the PST in that user outlook and have them just do a find/search in outlook on the pst for that user.
