possible to download a folder ZIPPED?

Planning to have a webpage done by a programmer. What I want to know is if it is possible using PHP and MYSQL to have a folder viewable on browser that has alot of files and I want to download the whole folder as a ZIP file.


Please advise if this is just a simple server side script. Thanks!
