possible to clone in mirror?

I use the clone tool alot and sometimes I wish that I somehow could use a "mirror tool clone" or something. is there such a possibility?
is there other programs than photoshop who is "good" on this field
I could allways mix with copy/paste and mirror, but that is a lot of work if there is a better way in clone tool

I don't think Photoshop can do this, although I could be wrong. My first thought is to make a copy of your file, flip one of them, then have both open at the same time. The clone stamp tool will work between two files, not just within the one.
