Hi,
I'm currently doing my internship, having just attained my MCSE certification. I've been given a project to find out how (if at all possible) we could automate a Compact of .pst files on the client end through Exchange. Is it possible to limit the size of the .pst file in the Personal Folder in Outlook97? There are files as big as 320Mb on users' hard drives! They're starting to run out of space, causing them to freeze up. Even telling them that they will eventually crash and lose ALL their e-mail hasn't resulted in any 'clean-up' of any kind. Dilemma!
My thought is to direct these .pst files to the user's home folder on the server.
I've researched everywhere that I could think of, with no results. Even "Google" let me down! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Sandy I'll never understand why one is asked to hit "F1" to resolve a "keyboard" error. How does it know you've hit it???
