Hey guys, I recently upgraded our main office circuit from a T1 to a Metro-E connection. I noticed after the switchover, we are constantly (8-10 times a day) having to reboot our Watchguard firewall to re-establish Internet connectivity. That is the only fix. We tried everything we can on the firewall (flush ARP, upgrade firmware, apply hotfixes, etc...) Now, Watchguard (and us) are starting to think it's the switch behind the firewall, which is an HP 2650. Could it be somehow creating loops or hanging up? When we switched from T1 to Metro-E, obviously, the public IP ranges switched as well, which we configured on the Watchguard. This office is using it as a simple layer 2 switch. Do you guys think rebooting the 2650 would clear hang ups of loops? Any information would be GREATLY appreciated.
