Possible screen capture with lingo?

Is it possible to have lingo do a screen capture, either the full screen or a specific defined area based on loc?

I assume Director would not be able to fire off system commands, but is there a way around this? (Note: This will not run in an embedded shockwave file on the net, only local home use)

Theres a Visual Basic application that does that using USER32.dll. To open a DLL in director you could use the Xlib Xtra. Look in the lingo dictionary under external files. I've never done it before but thats how you would do it.
