Possible " OPEN PORT" issue on ACS 308 for credit card processing

I sold a restaurant a Partner ACS 308 and installed it about 4 months ago. I believe it is set up 3 lines and six stations. Anyhow, now the IT guy says: that there is a Security Matrix that scans the Restaurants network (?) quarterly and has detected some type of open port that relates to a Digitam (?) switch box. So now the IT guy is saying the credit card processing system is in jeopardy and may be put in a suspended mode? Has anyone dealt with this before?

I should have mentioned I believe customer has Time Warner digital lines.

I think the cc processing must be using either one of the Partner digital lines from Time Warner, or the tech is using an un-used extension port.
I do not know, I have not been by to check it out. IT guys says I need to administer KSU from an open port to a closed port.??

WTF is he talking about?? Is the ACS connected to the network? Don't think it has anything to do with the phone system!

Like TTT wrote, WTF? IT guys are fond of blaming the phone system for network problems. The ACS doesn't even have an ethernet jack. I'd suspect the TW router has an issue with an open port.
