Hi, I am trying to make an action using Quickeys and Photoshop 7. Do you know of any way to scroll through the layers palette without using the mouse. I was hoping I could tab through it but it doesn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Yes the keyboard shortcuts are as such:

highlighting:
Alt+[ moves down through the list of layers and then cycles back to the top once it hits the bottom.
Alt+] is the opposite. It goes up and cycles down once it reaches the top.

moving layers:
Ctrl+[ moves the layer down but then stops at the very bottom and doesn't cycle up
Ctrl+] moves the layer up and then stays at the very top and doesn't cycle down.

Hope this helps!

I'm stuck again so I have one more shortcut question. I've got a text layer highlighted in the palette, now I need to find a way to select the text in the layer (the same as double clicking on the "T" in the layers palette). Any ideas? I looked through the Windows shortcuts help but I didn't see anything. Quickeys doesn't work well when the mouse is involved. Thanks in advance!

Well I'm going to add something to that first post of mine.

The swtiching layers thing has 2 more shortcuts:
Send Layer to Back : Ctrl+Shift+[
Bring Layer to Front : Ctrl+Shift+]
------------------------------------------------------------------

What you want to do can not be done. You have to use the mouse and select the text, or as you say double click the "T". I just looked through my photoshop book at all the shortcuts and I didn't see what you wanted. Sorry.
