Hi,
I've been using Apple Mail to connect to our SBS/Exchange server with no real problems. I was connecting using IMAP.
After setting up some other Macs here to use Apple Mail and it's Exchange account option I decided to change my account type to Exchange.
However, for some reason it wouldn't connect apparently due to username/password problems.
I tried switching back to an IMAP account. No joy. Same problem.
I can connect as normal using Thunderbird and IMAP rather than Apple Mail. I have tried connecting with Apple Mail without Thunderbird running.
I tried setting up another Mac to connect to my account using IMAP and I get the same problem.
This leads me to believe there is something wrong with my account rather than with the Mac/Mail. What I don't understand is why I can still connect via Thunderbird.
I've tried resetting my password on the SBS. No difference.
Is it possible for an account to become damaged in some way?
As I said, this was working fine for months until I started messing with it last week and 3 other Macs aren't having this issue.
