Possible driver/shutdown executable problem?

I recently found some spyware (180searchassistants and internet optimizer) on my system and spent a frustrating couple of hours zapping all of it. But now my system seems to have a problem with staying on. It keeps restarting only minutes after booting up. It will restart about 4 times in a row w/o me even touching it, and then will stabilize for a while in desktop recovery mode and then eventually something will crash/freeze and I will be forced to cold boot, or it will restart again on it's own! Is this some virus or driver corruption? Maybe a problem with the hardware. My shutdown temp is 75 C..is that normal?

Please advise!

Without knowing your spec...

but 75C sounds very high to me - I'd check your fan and the contact between it and cpu.

Also, make sure you have no programs running and then use ctrl-alt-delete to get to to task manager\processes and see what percentage is listed under "system idle process". If this is low you may very well have more malware issues, perhaps a trojan or other issue.
Go to trend-micro and let them install their scanning program. They do a great job and find a lot of stuff that antivirus and other programs will miss. You may find that may solve your problems. On the other hand, trend-micro is a very good, well trusted company and wont do your pc any harm.
Let us know the results.
thanks
