I designed some newspaper pages through Indesign2. Worked very nicely :)

But recently it has started to misbehave everytime I open those files to make modifications.
Eg. When i switch between preview/normal modes all the items in layout disappear (replaced by white). I can select the textboxes but cannot see whats in them etc. All other functionality such as zoom etc. is also lost. Now if I accidently save this unusable file then everytime I open it again, the same problems occurs at startup. This content disappear thingi also happens to individual text boxes: eg. If I am partitioning a textbox into 3 columns, I lose all editing functionality. BUT IF I export to pdf, then it comes out fine.

This has only started happening today and I just cannot understand the reason.

Any comments welcome
