I have agents taking regular calls in queue all day, but occasionally they handle critical emergency calls that ring in on their line appearances. All of their line appearances are in a coverage answer group when the emergency calls come in and they receive the call just fine. But if they are on a queue call, the emergency call coming in just appears visually below their queue call (no audible ring) and one of them needs to answer it. For whatever reason, when the emergency call comes in, there doesn't seem to be anything but a visual call coming in on the screen. I've messed with the per button ring control, but the line appearances are already set to ring.
I'm trying to brainstorm for other ideas to let them know in know in no uncertain terms that an important call is coming in.
a Queue-calls button would be great if the emergency call came into the queue, but it doesn't. It rings everyone's bridged appearances through a coverage answer group.
Are there any other indicator buttons that you can think of that could be used to get the agent's attention when that coverage answer group rings.
I thought about a real Avaya phone placed in the same room with them that could ring, but the issue is that they might sometimes be working from home where that phone isn't at.
Any creative ideas or buttons that can be added to their One X Agent station?
Thanks!
