I was just wondering if there is a way to make a custom form. Instead of using the windows settings for the form border and style, is there a way to make your own? I know you can make custom controls, but what about the forms?

you can always inerit from another form. Or you can make a template wich is nearly the same thing.

However (isn't there always), Visual inheritance is something very strange and is something that will only work if the super class doesn't have collections in it. For example the mainmenu uses a collection to keep it's menuitems in and when you have some menuitems in your super and try to add some in your sub class then the the ones added in the subclass will always have to be the last ones. But there are ways around al this. But none that are very userfriendly. So as long as you stick to changing the normal properties then your ok.
