Positouch Printing

Does anyone know if there is a way to print to a Positouch printer from another application?

Aloha has a utility to send a text file to a printer.

Does Positouch have anything like that? Or is it possible to upload an XML file to be sent to a prep/check printer?

I've tried serial and ethernet printers and both are "locked" either by POSITERM (serial) or REMOTEDC (ethernet).

I am open to any ideas. I've tried to use OPOS drivers, but I can't figure out how to make Positouch use an OPOS printer driver instead of the Positerm driver. If anyone can tell me how to configure Positouch to use an OPOS printer, I would appreciate that too!

If it's an Epson printer, I would try doing a self-test. Switch the printer off, hold down the feed button, and keeping the feed button held down, switch the printer on. When the Paper Out light flashes, press the Feed button to continue.

Otherwise you might have a cable issue. Try a cable that you know works.
