Hi All

How many of you use tables for positioning and how many use CSS?

We are using tables right now but I am seriously considering moving to CSS positioning. Advice and risks "watchits" would be appreciated.

Thanks.
Cheers

Richard

Tables can be the ultimate bummer in netscape 4 if you are using them for positioning. If you are not bothered about this browser them it would probably be better to use CSS. Not only is this method much neater it can also cut down on filesize which makes pages load faster and it makes maintenence of your site a doddle. Tables can take a while to render in your browser as lots of calculations have to be done regarding sizing etc (if you do not specify each inividual hieght and width). Nested tables also can take a while to render and editing them is a nightmare.

CSS is the way to go mate!
