Positioning image within a cell

How are properties edited for an images' placement within a cell. I've edited all the 'positioning' features (left, right, center, etc) but cannot move the image to the far left of a cell!

has the table's cellspacing, cellpadding been set to 0?

Known is handfull, Unknown is worldfull
