position of doors in a wall

I am creating a building plan for an old pub that has walls up to 880mm thick.

There are a variety of doors in these walls that need to have differing attributes:

Fire & exit doors require that the frame is placed very near the external wall face;
Doors between rooms sometimes have the frame on the opening side and sometimes the closing side.

Whenever I arrange 1 door, it's properties are transferred to all doors.

Sorry if this is a basic question but have been searching for an answer for several days without success.
