I have a report grouped on Customers (1) and then Products (2) and used printTime formulas (ie. WhilePrintingRecords) to calculate some metrics. All metrics are placed in both GF1 and GF2. One of the requirement is to display GF1 on top of GF2. Underlaying GF2 to GF1 doesn't work.

Any help is appreciated.

It would help to know what kind of metrics you are calculating and in the sections in which they are located.

Not sure what kind of calculations you are doing but if it's not running totals, then you could use GH1 followed by either GH2 or GF2.

It is not possible to change the order of group sections in the way you describe.

It would be simple if you could move the section, but if you think about it you don't really need this new section to be a GF1. You just need the objects that are in the current GF1 to appear above GH2. What section they are in isn't really important as long as things appear in the correct spot.

I would start by creating a second GF2 and put it above the existing one. Create a suppression formula for the new section so that it only appears when you want it to appear. Then put the objects into it that need to appear there. Now your questions will be more clear:

If you need help writing the suppression formula to get the section to appear at the right time, explain how often that section should appear.

If you need help writing formulas to show particular values, explain what the current values are in GF1.
