POSIFLEX -Running Micros 5.4 on Posiflexissues

I have configured Posiflex 6815 with micros 5.4 and all seem to be working just fine. except for a couple of issues described here:
1. The drawer will not open. The drawer is connected to CR port, tried on different COM port but will not open.
2. Every time we reboot the Posiflex terminal, it keeps looking for the micros server and it finds it and we just need to click on save and it works just fine. I have static IP assigned to Posiflex. I removed wireless connectivity and connected with an ethernet cable but still doing same. How do I make this so that whenever it reboots it does not pause at this screen for my input.

you would need to set up OPOS drivers to get the cash drawer to kick from the receipt printer.

I was thinking of testing a posiflex workstation I know for a fact that the printers pp6900 works fine just need to install the vusbcom for posiflex and assigned the com port at the configurator ,

As for the cash drawer posiflex might be using different pinouts from the one being used by micros have seen this several times where micros interchange the wiring to make it unique.

For finger print scanner micros installs its own drivers any other wont work so you need to uninstall the one installed by windows.
