Pos config - cant type in employee password/id

I have been using micros3700 5.4 for a while. recently when i add a new employee under security it wont let me type in password id, user id, pc app id or user password. I can fill out other fields on that page. Any help is appreciated as i just hired a bunch of new staff and dont want to have to do it manually on the terminal.
