POS 3rd party software

Hello all!

Quick question... Does Aloha, Micros, or any other major POS provider allow for easy integration with third party software? I was thinking about developing a program that would pull some information from the POS system ie, employees clocked in, server sales data, and checkout information and routing it to different software. Also, do POS printers have the capability of printing a barcode on the thermal paper? Thanks!

Yes, you can print barcodes on thermal printers. I use the "Print Barcode on Guest Check" in Aloha guest check settings.
