Hi,

Can someonce please tell me exactly what Ports 233, 234, 235 & 236 are used for.

The manuals & docs say Analog TELEPHONES, i have tried to patch simple Analog phone into them and test but the never work.

I have conected a ATA Module and this does work fine for a standard BT Phone.

I'm in the Uk if it makes a difference as i know that the first four Lines (061,062,063,064) on a BCM50 only work in the US.

Thanks for clearing this issues up.

If they are to work can you please explain how i need to configure them if poss.

Thanks again

Roger

If this is a BCM 50, do you have keycodes for the analog stations?

Yes its a 50.

The Phone system is as follows:
BCM50
BRI ISDN Module in BCM Expansion Unit 1
DSM16+ Module in BCM Expansion Unit 2

We have Keycodes for the following :
BCM DIGITAL STATION 12 PORT
BCM EXPANSION 1 PORT
BCM EXPANSION 1 PORT
BCM VOICE MSG 8 SEAT

Hi again, i think i have found the answer.

Basically they are

four Analog station interfaces, that are NOT supported to work in the Uk.

So to sum up,the following is not used in the UK, therefore does not need to be pathced into the patch pannel for future use.

Four Analog Look supervised Trunks
Four Analog station interfaces.

If i'm wrong please let me know.

Thanks

Hi Roger

You are correct for some unknown reason Nortel in there wisdom do not support or sale the inbuilt analogue devices (extensions or lines). It is a shame because it really would have made the box complete package.
