Portrait orientation when exporting in Word for CR 8.5

Hi,

I am a report developer who has been using Crystal Enterprise 8 and Crystal Reports 8.5 to develop the reports. When I created the reports, all the reports had been defaulted as landscape orientation in Crystal Report 8.5 IDE. However, when the format was exported in Word format, the result orientation is always portrait orientation even though default orientation was set as landscape. The result orientation should be landscape rather than being portrait when exporting in Word format. Please give me any clue to resolve this issue. Thanks!

Try applying the service packs to CE and CR, they should help:

The original export DLL's were pretty bad for WOrd in CR 8.5, also you might try exporting to RTF if that doesn't resolve.

FYI, I have installed CE 9.0 SP1, and still have the same problem. This also occurs with Excel files. I found no hits on the Crystal Decisions Knowledgebase, unfortunately.
