I know we have the capability to port numbers from Nortel to Cisco. Is it done from the Nortel side or the Cisco side and how do I do it?

Thanks,

Tina

Which Nortel and cisco systems?

On option 81c/CS100 it has been done with DSC (Distant Steering codes) think its ld87 but requires a link from the nortel to the cisco. so each dn will have a DSC to the Cisco.

Porting numbers is done by the Telco. They would route the DID's to a different circuit for instance, for inbound calls. Is this what you were referring to?
