Hi all, I've got something I dont think should be too hard for most of you but is for me.

I just had a new server installed, Windows 2003. 20GB was given as the C:\ and about 550GB was partitioned as D:\. Now I have installed sharepoint portal and SQL2000 accepting the defaults, created a portal site on the default website, points to C:\Inetpub\ etc.

Anyway I have only been playing around with sharepoint up to now, but now I want to go ahead with it and I would prefer it all on D:\ so I have lots of room. How do I move it to D:\? (I am happy to lose what I have done so far)

PS: if its something to do with creating a virtual server, I need help with that too.. sorry.

Hi, problem solved. Just incase there is someone as dumb as me out there this is what I did.

Uninstalled the Portal, Uninstalled SQL server, Uninstalled Sharepoint Services, Removed the Application Server role (bit of overkill I know).

Reinstalled everything to D:\, changed the default website to a different port and stopped it.

Created a new website on port 80 and on D:\ and created a portal site on the new website.

Cheers
