Hi All:
I have two portal sites, both with different IP addresses running on a server. Both websites share the same Active Directory and are in the same domain. In the AD, I have created groups of users. I then added the users using "Manage Users" link from both portal websites and assigned which group can have access to the respective website either as an "administrator" or a "reader". On the first website, people who have either administrator or reader privilege can access the website as an admin or regular users respectively. On the second website, only people who have "administrator" role can log into the website and those with "reader" roles will get the following message when they try to log in. "Error Access denied. You do not have permission to perform this action or access this resource."
Anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong???? On IIS, I have set the security setting to the following for both websites.
Enable Anonymous access - unchecked
Integrated Windows authentication - checked
Digest authentication for windows domain servers - checked
Access requests are not enabled.
Thanks.
