Is there a way or solution present to port .NET application to Solaris making it J2EE compliant. I am currently developing an HR application in .NET, but my company wants to run it under Solaris environment to speed up and cut off any unnecceaasry load and resources that might arise using .NET. Can somebody help please?

Thanks in advance.

Humm...

Sun had been arguing that need for "write once, run anywhere" for years now. And MS lovers had always said that it is a load of cr"p. I guess you just found out first hand that it is not....

Anyway, currently as it stands, there is no way to port to solaris. Even though .Net does run intermediate byte code like Java, all the framework facilities are pure Microsoft. Maybe you should look into Structs and consider a re-write...
