I've created a ODBC File DSN for use in connecting Access form to Oracle 8i database. How do I get same Access form running on another machine to use a copy of that File DSN?
Thanks

The File DSN information is actually stored in a file whose default path is :\Program Files\Common Files\ODBC\Data sources\filename.dsn. One can open this as a textfile.

One can achieve this kind of functionality in either of the below mentioned two ways:

-Copy the contents of the FileDSN from the source machine to the destination machine at the above mentioned path

-If you do not want to copy then on the destination machine Bring up ODBC Administrator->>Go to File DSN tab->>In the box "Look In" point to the FileDSN on the source machine. Obviously for this to work you need to have a share on the source machine.
