How can I check which port is being used by a particular application?

To be more specific, say I need to know what port is being used by a streaming video on a website, or what port is being used by a game, how do I find this info?

Thanks!!

Try the free trial of Port Explorer for a easy understandable solution.

Have a look at their free OpenPorts program too.

The command netstat /? will show all options.

I find netstat -nob one of the most useful command variants.

or

netstat -nobv wish displays this for me right now.
