I have a 6509 which I have configured for VMPS.
When I configure port membership to dynamic to participate I have the problem that on my large network, some users might decide to patch in a hub on that port. When I tested a hub connected to that dynamic port, I patched in 2 nics both known in the VMPS database - the first (call it A), denied (none) and the second (call it B) put in VLAN7. Although, when I patched B first and A second, then removed B the dynamic port still reported to be configured to VLAN7. What I want is to be able to have one mac per port whilst still having the functionality of Dynamic VLANs.
Anyone have any ideas?
thanks
