I have been looking to set up some port forwarding for remote phones and was seeing something that I have a question about. We set up some J series phones to use a specific port say 25000 but when I look at my router or IPO it is showing all different ports for this phone like 38472 one time. I have double checked my phone and the local IPO and it is set up to work with the 25000 but the router is not seeing that port from the remote phone. Is this something to do with the ISP or am I missing something. I am not a network guy so I sometimes think I'm crazy when these thing happen.
