Port on Cisco switch won't activate with devices using POE

We have a non POE 8 port Cisco switch WS-C2960-8TC-L. If we plug our computer into one of the ports it is able to access the internet yet when we plug our Crestron CEN-IDOCV (iPod dock)using a Crestron PWE-4803RU POE injector into that same port we cannot see it on the network or ping it. We have tried the dock set with Static and Dynamic IP's and the results were the same.

If we move that CEN-IDOCV w/POE injector to a different Cisco 24 port switch w/POE on the same subnet it works perfect.

Seems like the POE injector is not compatible or the Switch is not recognizing the device and activating the port.
