I haven't done port mirroring on alpine, but I have on Black Diamonds, Summit48i and Summit24e3's. So I believe that it should be pretty much the same.
There are 2 commands
enable mirroring to port #:# -sniffer, ids, tap ,etc
configure mirroring add port #:# -port to be monitored
The port that is enabled to be the mirrored port (sniffer), will be removed from whatever vlan it is currently attached to and when port mirroring is disabled you will need to add it back to a vlan. This port can't be used for normal network usage at the time that it is mirroring the port.
