I am wondering if anyone has experienced a similar problem to the one I am having.
The networks I am supporting has many nodes consisting of switch 4400se (either as single switches or stacks).
Port security has been applied to the switches with automatic learning for one MAC address and set to automatically disable.
The problem I am experiencing is that after either a power blackout or if power is takenm down for routine electrical maintenance, the switches are experiencing multiple and random port lockouts. In some cases the ports are showing as disabled, in others they still show as active but still require security to be removed and re-added to the port.
Is this a known problem and is there a solution?
