port install and cvsup through pure proxy

Hi,

Can I install port package and cvsup through pure http proxy that require userid and password? I know that for port install I can download first from other machine but it requires a lots of work as port install will install all the dependecy package automatically. Its kind like handy if I can go through my proxy. Anybody ever experience this let me know, please?
