I work for a small software company that uses PC Anywhere to access customer machines to perform upgrades/maintenance/support functions. Mostly we set up a RAS connection for access, but sometimes (when it's available) we set it up over the internet. I've run into a problem at one site trying to get an internet connection set up.
They are running a LAN behind a proxy. The proxy machine is an NT 4.0 server box running MS Proxy Server 2.0. I've been on the phone with the IT guy at this site way too much trying to help him figure out how to punch a port forwarding hole through this proxy server.
Does anybody here have some info, resources, or web links that would help out? I would greatly appreciate it.
