port forward to 8080

Hello this might already have been answered but we are a small isp and a subscriber asked me if I would (in my main internet router which is a cisco 3845) port forward his public static ip to port 8080 so he can remotely monitor some equipment. Any ideas on the best way to do this? Or is this something he should get his own router and do behind our modem. Thanks for any ideas. I personally dont see the need for it being done but I also dont work alot with port forwarding. The url he is using is
 
So do you provide managed services for for your subscribers? Do you guys secure these networks for your clients? If no, then I don't see why you need to be involved. Do as you said and have the customer put in a router/firewall or if the DSL modem has the capability, have them configure it there.
