port forward
10 - 5631
and
80 - 80

but the only one that shows as open is 5631

what am i doing wrong ??
i needed netmeeting plus video stream on 80
thanks gang for any help.
i checked w/ my ISP, roadrunner and they dont block port 80
is there an issue w/ the linksys ??

If you forwarded ports 10-5631 you do not have to forward port 80 again.

Do this instead of port forwarding:

Get the newest firmware version of your router and install it. Then:

1. Enable uPnP on the router, and on your workstation.
2. Download Directx Version 9.0a
3. Download the newest version of Messenger

Done.

Also, see my thread below: "Help for the Port Forwarding Challanged?"

Also, as I replied in your other post, turn off 'Block WAN request'.

actually, i take that back...
after a long online chat w/ Roadrunner again
i found out that they DO BLOCK port 80
in central florida due to high volume users......

now what?? what is an "Unused/free" port i can use
to forward ??
I might use a POrt Relay service like one from
TZO.com
to do this only about $50 a year unless anyone has other alternatives ??
thanks Guys
