I can get my Televantage server to play voice mail messages when I connect to the citrix server using Nfuse over port 80, but not when coonecting straight through using a client over port 1494. Does anyone have any idea why this could be?

FYI- Error message claims there is a problem with the sound hardware on your machine, but there are no problems visible in device manager. Thanks for any help.

awoodall,
Even if you connect via nfuse to your published applicaiton...you are still going to be using port 1494 or 2598 (with session reliability enabled on 3.0 or 4.0).

Port 80 is only used when talking to Web Interface (nfuse) as soon as the app is launched, you will be using the citrix ports.
Are you using the same clients to test this out?
I've seen this issue in the past and the problem was that the client that I was using didn't have the audio enabled on it...which made me feel kind of dumb =( lol

I would find a client that does provide sound and test with that. Connect to each of your servers and try it that way. Also, make sure you have a policy that enables audio on the Citrix servers. And make sure you don't have any policies applied to those servers that denies audio mappings.

Hope that helps.
