Port 138 request

One of my laptop is requesting port 138 and it’s eating up my bandwidth. I am sure I have the virus/worm but don’t’ know what kind?!?!

There are a number of trojans that operate on port 139, is it possible that you're seeing activity on this port instead?
Either way, have updated antivirus installed? Tried an online virus scanner?

Port 183 is used for microsoft services & both tcp n udp packets flow through these ports..
its also shared by other service..
pls specify the o/s & also specify the %age of udp packets flow thru a packet analyzer
