Help - need info asap

Does anyone have a good step by step proceedure for recovering a Full root file system for sco unix - intel platform.

Could not restore from good tape backup - error - restore
of root file system failed.

Ghosted the 4gig drive to a 9 gig drive but will still need
to recover root and resize partitions.

It is assumed all is on the root and there is no other user
File systems. I am awaiting unit for inspection and diagnose.

Thanks

In single user mode you can try the following:
Code:
rm -rf /tmp/* /usr/tmp/* /etc/*tmp*
