Popup menus and status bar

I've made a popup menu but when I preview in browser (or for that matter when I upload it and view it live), no URL appears in the status bar when I mouse over the menu items. I don't think I've done anything wrong -- is there any kind of Javascript fix for this or anything?

thats cuz links do not show up at the status bar for popups excuse me can i have some more
