I have a left sidebar menu that has a popup menu for each choice. This all works well unless the popup menu crosses a jump menu object then the popup menu stays on top of the entire page except the jump menu object stays on top of the popup menu. using Dreamweaver MX and the define popup menu functionality.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I've noticed it happen with a list box or jump menu but not with check boxes or radio buttons. Very strange

How are the menus created ?

There is a problem with drop down select boxes and trying to dynamically place / create DIVs etc over them. These components are 'windowed' and as such will stay at the 'front' of any page. These links may help;

The only way around this is to either:

a) loop through and hide all your list boxes when a menu is triggered using css. Not pretty but there we go.
b) use popups (which I think are ie only). Link here for information:

probably not the answer you wanted to hear though.

anyone else feel free to correct anything I've said...

Joe.
