For the thing i described in my previous post, I also need a popup calendar (similar to those you see on many websites) to select a start and end date. Does this exist as a built in feature?

thread707-599803 may be of use to you - it mentions a Calender Control. In Excel, I have used a DateTimePicker control but I cannot remember what you have to include in the VB Editor References list to have access to the control.
