Popup Blocker Question

I'm running XP Pro and for some reason my popup blocker is not working correct? It used to let me open a new page (popup) in another window when I would hold the Ctrl button down. Now it does nothing when I click on a link and hold the button. I guess this problem is something to do with the popup blocker ?? Any help would be Great?????

Use Google toolbar's pop up blocker instead and turn off the integrated Internet Explorer pop-up blocker.

Better yet, use the google toolbar but install Firefox 3.0 for a more reliable and secure browser.

In IE/ Tools/ Pop-up Blocker, are your options set correctly?

You could also look at System Restore, or resetting IE back to Default settings, or at least try it with No Add-ons.
