Populating PDF Template with Database Data from the Web

Hello Everyone,

I am new at Adobe and I just need some information to get me started.

What I have is a Web Site to collect data about a person. What I then want to do is have them click a button on the ASP page and open up a PDF document which is an application.

Here is that catch. I want the application to populate with the data from a database for this person. This all needs to be done via the web with a single button click.

Can anyone give me an idea of how I can do this, links to sites that can, or what books to look at? Also, can anyone even tell me if this can be done with Adobe?

Any help would be appreciated!
