Hi,

I have used ods techniques to create excel spreadsheets and everything seems fine.I am using Unix SAS. Is there a way of populating one column in a spreadsheet without having to overwrite other columns. If anyone has some idea on it, it would be great.

Thanks,
Raj

Hi,
Instead of creating one column, Is it possible to create multiple spreadsheets using unix sas.

Thanks
Raj

The ExcelXP tagset allows you to write multiple spreadsheets, but it creates a new file from scratch each time, so will overwrite any other data in there.

In Unix SAS you need the "SAS/Access for PC Files" component to make changes to an exisiting Excel spreadsheet. This will allow you to access the Excel Workbook as a library, and each spreadsheet as a dataset.
