How would I populate the numbers 1 through 15 (for example) after I highlight rows A1 thru A15?

Thanks.

Hi,

enter 1 in A1
enter 2 in A2

Select A1:A2 and drag to A15 (or whatever), using the little square in the lower-RH corner of the SELECTION.

If 1 is in A1, check out Fill Series (Edit menu)...

I don't think it really matters, but to do it after you've already selected the range, you could type in
[tab]=Row()
and press [Ctrl] + [Enter]

Or, along the same lines as Skip's suggestion, enter 1 in A1. Click and drag down to A15 while holding down [Ctrl].
