Populating Listboxes with Thousands of Entries

Altogether, WHY? It is not likely that the human "looking" at a list box will have any desire (or ability) to scroll through 35K entries in a list box. It would even be difficult to select a reasonable "Range" from 35K items in a list. For PROGRAMATIC access or manipulation, there are better mechanisims/tools to stotr the information. I would suggest that you 're-think' the problem -and the soloution.

My VB6 SP5 "blows" at adding item 32736 so that is your first problem. Doc says limit for List/Combo is 32K (0 thru 32767).
