Populating form from lov

hi dear frends.
is there a way that the specific value from the LOV b passed into the field for which the lov exists by double clicking it.
plz reply soon.

If you are using forms standard LOV then double-clicking on an item in the LOV window will automatically select it and return it to the target item.

i'm using forms5 but it doesn't happen so, thats y i wrote this. or there may be some problem with my LOV. but i dont know wuts wrong with that. plz help me
